TIME:6 hours, Half Day Tour
DAMNOEN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET
Damnoen Saduak is a village located about 105 km west of Bangkok. The floating market is the best place to learn about traditional Thai life on the waterways.
The best time to visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is in the morning.
The Floating Market is always crowded with hundreds of vendors and visitors floating in their small rowing boats selling and buying or exchanging their goods. You will find food, fruit, including Malacca grape, Chinese grapefruit, mangoes, bananas and coconut, and vegetable which are mostly brought from their own orchards and arrive on their small rowing boats.
MAE KLONG TRAIN MARKET
Mae Klong Railway Market is unique and exciting because a train runs through the market daily. In seconds vendors have to hide and as soon the train passes by, they go back to their places in the middle of the railway.
For the locals, they are neither excited nor annoyed by this event since the market has been here long before the railway was setup in 1905. There you can find fruits, fresh fuits, fresh fish and vegetables.
